Driver Info

Entrance Fees

ALL DRIVERS MUST complete the online driver registration through MyRacePass. The driver will not be checked in and allowed to race until this is completed. Registration can be found on the right side of the Home Page.

Driver Entrance Fee - this fee includes car entry fee and pit pass.
Modified $75
Sport Mod $60
Stock Car $60
Dwarf Car $55
Cruiser $35
Go-Kart $25

Transponders - We use MyLaps transponders and they will be available for rent. They are $10 a night.

Pit Pass - must be paid by all individuals entering the pit area.
Adults (age 13 -100+) $25

Children (age 3- 12) $15
All minors (under 18 must have a minor consent form completed to access the pit area.

Click here to purchase GRANDSTAND ADMISSION tickets for family and friends! Simply click the ticket icon next to the event you wish to purchase tickets for. Tickets will be on sale online until 7pm the evening before the race weekend. Any tickets not purchased online will be available at the gate when they open, and not before. They are first come first serve. All pit passes must be purchased at the gate. Cash or check is preferred.

Parts - Tires - Fuel

Pitt Stop Motorsports is the track dealer for parts, Hoosier G60 Tires and Fuel. Please contact them at 307-352-9511 or 307-250-2575 to ensure they have what you need at the track.

TR Liebelt will be available with Cornwell Tools.

Rules and Regulations

Sweetwater Speedway follows IMCA General Rules and currently runs the following classes. Links to the rules are included on this page. All drivers are required to use a race receiver.

IMCA Modifieds
All IMCA modifieds will follow the current IMCA Modified rules as published in the IMCA National Rule Book, along with any additions or corrections that are dictated from the IMCA national headquarters. All drivers must hold a current IMCA license and be in good standing with IMCA. All races will be sanctioned events and follow IMCA Racing procedures for lineups and points. Official rules can be reviewed at www.imca.com

IMCA Northern Sport Mods
All IMCA Norther Sport Mods will follow the current IMCA rules as published in the IMCA National Rule Book, along with any additions or corrections that are dictated from the IMCA national headquarters. All drivers must hold a current IMCA license and be in good standing with IMCA. All races will be sanctioned events and follow IMCA Racing procedures for lineups and points. IMCA Stock Cars
All IMCA Stock Cars will follow the current IMCA rules as published in the IMCA National Rule Book, along with any additions or corrections that are dictated from the IMCA national headquarters. IMCA Hobby Stocks

All drivers must hold a current IMCA license and be in good standing with IMCA. All races will be sanctioned events and follow IMCA Racing procedures for lineups and points. IMCA Sport Compacts
All IMCA Sport Compacts will follow the current IMCA rules as published in the IMCA National Rule Book, along with any additions or corrections that are dictated from the IMCA national headquarters. All drivers must hold a current IMCA license and be in good standing with IMCA. All races will be sanctioned events and follow IMCA Racing procedures for lineups and points. Official rules can be reviewed at www.imca.com. The grandfather period for Cruisers ended in 2022.

Dwarf Cars
All Dwarf cars will follow the High Country Dwarf Car Association Rules or the Western States Dwarf Car Association Rules. To view their rules, go to their website.

Gears

Gears will vary based on car, engine, what line a driver prefers to run. Below is an estimate of the gear ratio needed in the IMCA Divisions.
Modifieds - Crate - Quick Change Gears 5:20-5:41
Northern Sport Mods - 5:43-5:67
Stock Car - 6:20-6:50

Enduro Race - July 4th

The 2023 Enduro Race on July 4th will be an IMCA Sport Compact Special with 100 laps and $1000 to win on the line. The second class will be a Run What You Brung Class with cars eligible from all forms of racing for 50 laps and $500 to win on the line. This will be a great night of racing followed by Fireworks. There will be a Candy Dash for the Kids and a Beer Dash for the Adults. Make sure you attend the Parade during the day and come to the races at night.

July 22, 2023 - Smash & Bash Derby

The Sweetwater Speedway will again be hosting the Smash and Bash Derby on Saturday, July 22, 2023. We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Stirrin' Dirt Racing to make this year even better. We will be part of a series that will allow drivers to compete at other events for additional money and prizes throughout 2032. Registration is now open on our website under Driver Registration. We will run a total of 4 classes that include:

Pit Parking

There are roughly 118 parking spots in the Pit Area. Please park closely so that all drivers are able to park.

There is reserved parking at Sweetwater Speedway and sold spots are listed with the driver number. Reserved spots are $100 for the year and drivers are responsible for marking their spots to other drivers know they are reserved. If you would like to purchase a spot, please email sweetwaterspeedway@gmail.com with the location and for payment information.
