History

Sweetwater Speedway was built back in the 1970's and is part of the Sweetwater Events Complex grounds. There have been several different organizations and promoters over the years that have kept racing alive in Sweetwater County.

In 2015 the Sweetwater Dirt Track Racing Alliance was formed as a non-profit organization. It is the Alliance that coordinates the events and is run by a group of dedicated volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Kara Beech at sweetwaterspeedway@gmail.com
